Getting Started Checklist

After your initial phone consultation, there are a few very important initial steps to take before your child begins his or her lessons.

__ Learn about the priciples and teaching techniques of the Suzuki Method from the Suzuki Association of the Americas official website.

__ Look at the Evergreen Academy schedule and choose a tentative lesson time.

__ Familiarize yourself with the Policies of the Evergreen Academy Suzuki Program.

__ Establish the practice time in your family’s daily schedule.

__ Have your child begin listening to the book 1 CD available here

__ Read “Ability development from age Zero” available here

__ Complete Parent Ed course.

__ Obtain the necessary materials (including appropriate guitar)

__ Get ready to make music with your child!
