About Evergreen Academy

The Evergreen Academy of Talent Education exists to enrich the lives of children and their families through the study of music. We believe the study of music leads to greater self-esteem, greater discipline, and greater humanity, and that ALL children have talent.

The Evergreen Academy of Talent Education joins two wonderful family-oriented music education programs: the well-loved Music Together® program for children from ages birth to kindergarten, and the highly successful Suzuki method of teaching instrumental music.

Inspired by the fact that every child learns his or her native language perfectly by its being a constant presence in his environment and being “taught” by parents in a loving and supportive way, Dr. Suzuki developed his method, which he described as “Talent Education,” as a way of teaching instrumental music with these ideas at the forefront. The Music Together program at Evergreen Academy is an excellent introduction to music study that shares many of these guiding philosophies in its approach to developing musical intelligence in very young children.

Suzuki Guitar

An outstanding guitar program for children as young as four that combines time-tested early childhood teaching techniques with excellent repertoire, instruction in individual and group lessons, and parental involvement throughout their child’s education. The Suzuki method of instruction focuses on developing the whole child as he or she grows through the study of music.

Music Together^®

As hundreds of thousands of families worldwide know, Music Together is the joy of children and their grownups sharing songs, rhymes, movement, and instrument play, both in music class and in their daily lives. A pioneering music and movement curriculum for children, Music Together offers classes for children newborn through kindergarten, in which parents and caregivers actively participate.
